Meet the Founder

Kieran Massey

Kieran Massey founded MKMation after more than ten years working within the vacuum technology and thin-film deposition industry. Following graduation from Durham University, Kieran built a career spanning research, equipment manufacture, automation engineering and technical leadership. Throughout this journey, he has designed, commissioned, operated and supported complex vacuum and PVD systems while developing specialist expertise in software, automation and control systems. His career includes roles at Evince Technology, Moorfield Nanotechnology, Gencoa and Korvus Technology, where he led control system development, supported new product design, managed technical teams and delivered innovative engineering projects. By combining practical experience with advanced automation expertise, Kieran helps customers solve technical challenges ranging from software development and hardware integration through to complete control system design and equipment modernisation. Today, MKMation allows him to focus on what he enjoys most: helping customers develop better equipment, improve reliability and bring new ideas to life through intelligent engineering solutions.
